Contest Flying

GlideOmarama instructors havecompeted in and sometimes won gliding contests in New Zealand and around the world including: the UK, US and Australian National Championships and the World Champonships.

Enter a Duo Discus in the South Island Regional Races, the New Zealand Nationals or the Omarama Cup with a GlideOmarama instructor and experience the excitement of racing gliders amongst the Souther Alps. This is an excellent way to learn about gliding contests, to develop your own skills and racing strategies, to meet the who's who of the New Zealand gliding scene, and to have a lot of fun.
