Adventure Long Flights

Adventure Soaring long flights are for visiting glider pilots or those who wish to enjoy a
day or two of spectacular mountain soaring with an instructor in one of our 6 Duo Discus's.

This is a great opportunity for pilots with limited time in the area to experience Omarama's extraordinary soaring environment. With a two to four hour flight it is usally possible to fly deep into the mountains, soar around Mount Aspiring or Mount Cook or climb to great heights in wave and make long high speed flights for several hundred kilometres.

Cost: NZ$220 per hour in a Duo Discus ( NZ$140 per hour in a Grob 103 or Twins Astir) plus aero tow and a two hour minimum flight time. Bookings: Bookings for these adventures are best made for the weekends but can be accepted mid week, outside the busy periods.
